Seminole Brighton Bay is the newest Seminole property in Florida, opened on 6 February 2025 north-west of Lake Okeechobee. It rates 4.1 from around 2,900 Google reviewers.

It replaced the older Seminole Casino Brighton on the same reservation with a building roughly 40% larger, and it turned a gaming floor into a resort — the hotel, the event venue and the bowling alley are all new.

What's on the floor

About 38,000 square feet holding 640 slot machines and 18 live table games covering blackjack, craps, roulette and other house-banked card games.

As a Seminole property operating under the tribe's compact with Florida, it can offer house-banked tables. That is the fundamental difference between this floor and a pari-mutuel casino or the Class II floor at Miccosukee Casino & Resort, neither of which may run a live blackjack table.

Two details are worth knowing. There is a smoke-free gaming space — still uncommon in Florida — and a separate high-limit area. For a floor of this size, having both is unusual.

Hotel, bowling and entertainment

The hotel runs 100 guest rooms across four floors and about 72,000 square feet, a mix of king and double-queen rooms plus three suites, with a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.

The rest of the complex is where the property earns its keep in a rural location: an indoor event venue, an outdoor stage, and a bowling alley. In a part of Florida with very little else to do after dark, that combination makes Brighton Bay a destination for the surrounding counties rather than only a gaming floor.

There are three restaurants, including the EE-TO-LEET-KE Grill — the same name the tribe uses at Immokalee, translating roughly as "The Camp".

Tips before you go

You must be 21 to gamble at Seminole properties in Florida.

The casino is open 24 hours, seven days a week.

Brighton is genuinely remote. It sits in cattle and citrus country north-west of Lake Okeechobee, roughly an hour and a half from West Palm Beach and about two hours from Orlando or Fort Myers. That distance is the point — the floor is far quieter than the Broward and Tampa properties, and a table seat on a Saturday night is realistic here.

The hotel is small at 100 rooms. If you are coming for a show or a weekend, book early.

Nearby alternatives

South-west, Seminole Casino Hotel Immokalee is the tribe's other inland property, with 38 tables and a WPT poker room. North-west, Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Tampa is the largest floor in the state. South-east, Seminole Casino Coconut Creek serves Broward.
