Identity checks were the single most common source of friction for our Florida reviewers. Between April and September 2026 they logged 348 tests across 72 sweepstakes casinos, and 100 of those tests involved an ID check, a little under a third. Several Florida testers needed multiple attempts, waited longer than the stated processing time or needed support to finish. This guide shows which operators asked, how often, and what Florida testers learned about getting through quickly.

What the Florida data shows

Rebet asks the most, and asks for the most. Fourteen of seventeen Florida Rebet tests involved verification, which takes ID photos, a selfie or face scan, a full Social Security number and device location. Florida testers scored its signup 5.7 out of 10, well below the 7.6 Texas testers gave it. Florida testers also found its support fixed failed checks quickly, in one case within three minutes.

Chip'N Win verifies before you buy, and then pays. About half of its Florida tests met a check at the store, with ID photos and a selfie. All five of its timed Florida payouts arrived within two days.

Light checks do not guarantee fast payouts in Florida. Jackpota asked for ID in fewer than one in five Florida tests, but none of its eight timed Florida payouts arrived within two days. The check still happens, just later, when you redeem.

Pulsz is the best of both. It checked ID in only two of 17 Florida tests, scored 8.4, the highest here, and paid four of six timed redemptions within two days.

Florida's common verification problems

Florida testers reported the same handful of issues again and again:

  • Photo framing. One tester spent about fifteen minutes getting a camera to accept an ID photo, because the lighting, angle and position all had to be exact.
  • Phone numbers already in use. One tester's number was flagged as belonging to another account and needed support to clear.
  • Location checks. Several sites require device location, and one tester only got through after switching from a mobile website to the app.
  • Delays on the operator's side. One tester was told verification would take two to five minutes and found it still processing an hour later. Another could not play for three days while their account was reviewed.
  • Glasses in the selfie. One tester's check failed because they kept their glasses on for the face scan.

How to get through faster

  1. Use a driving licence in good light, on a plain background.
  2. Allow location access before you start, not when prompted mid-signup.
  3. Have a recent utility bill ready in case proof of address is requested.
  4. If a check fails twice, contact support rather than retrying again.
